A huge part of being a photographer/ artist consists of the presentation of your work.
You have already created a blog displaying your work as a whole. Now you will create somewhat of a summary or theme by creating a digital sketchbook spread.
What exactly is a sketchbook?
A sketchbook is a book or pad with blank pages for reflecting or experimenting and is frequently used by artists for drawing or painting as a part of their creative process.The sketchbook varies widely from artist to artist, with some having
very simple drawings and lots of notes, and some having highly worked images. Over time, it might allow others to see the artist's progress.Therefore a sketchbook doesn’t need to be just the traditional Moleskine (that all “artsy” photographers seem to carry). Rather, it can be any sort of document (physical or digital) that helps a photographer achieve his/her ultimate project.
Tips for presenting your photography
- Be a storyteller when presenting your work. Reviewers want to know about you, who you are, what inspire you, and your commitment to your work.
- Present only your best work.
